Sweet Sixteen

No, this post is not about the up-coming round of March Madness.  It is about something far more important and special.  You see, sixteen years ago today God gave Daniel and I a very special gift... Elise.  Today we will be celebrating her 16th birthday.



Actually, she's been kind of celebrating all weekend.  Her friend Heidi came over Friday night and spent all day Saturday with her.  On Sunday we drove in to Salt Lake for a family dinner after church.  She chose to go to Olive Garden.  It was such a nice family afternoon.  Tonight we will have a little party with extended family.  She has asked for Chocolate Cheesecake.

We are so proud of the young lady Elise has become.  She is beautiful and talented.  She loves the Lord and she loves her friends.  Elise is such a help and blessing to our family.
