You and Me Anniversary Card

Image
Good morning everyone.  I would like to welcome you to a new year on DJ's Sundries.  I am so happy that you chose to stop by today. Have you ever had one of those projects that changed completely after you got started?  That kind of happened to me with this card.  I had planned to use some 3 Girl JAM Merlot ribbon on the front of the card, but when I went to grab it, I had used all of mine.  No worries, I already let Julie know that I need more.  Instead, I used some of the new Jute ribbon in the same color.  I think I like the finished project even better.  It definitely looks more masculine than a soft ribbon bow would have looked. Supplies: 3 Girl JAM Jute ribbon (get yours here and be sure to use the code CP10 to let Julie know that I sent you over) Fancy Pants "Love Note" 6X6 paper pad Core'dinations "Juneberry"smooth card stock Echo Park "Your's Truly" sticker set Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge Crystal Stickles Foam tape ...

Card Makeover

Hello everyone.  I trust this finds you well.  I have been so crazy busy that I haven't really taken the time to craft lately.  That means that I'm really far behind.  My brother and sister-in-law's anniversary was last week and I didn't have time to make a card.  So this is what I did to still give them a little something special. I started by going into my card stash and discovered that I didn't have any anniversary cards made up.  However, I found this adorable wedding card that my friend Crystal made. ** Last year we had a card exchange club where each month we would pick a different theme and make around 8 cards.  Then we would exchange them between us.  It was great.  Not only did we receive great inspiration from each other, but we increased our card stashes.  Those cards have saved my bacon on more than one occasion.** The next step was to figure out how to turn this wedding card into an anniversary card.  I grabbed my...

Lace Bow Anniversary Card

I trust this finds you all well.  I wanted to share this card with you.  I love the old fashioned feel of this one.  I used Distress Ink (Faded Jeans, Walnut Stain, Black Soot), the Heartfelt stamp set, distress paper, tickets, and a philosophy tag from Tim Holtz.  I used "All in the Family" by K. Andrew Designs, a doily sprayed in yellow shimmer spray, and lace from my stash to help complete the look. The card base was made from PaperTrey Ink Kraft cardstock and the inside finished with more tickets.  Please watch the video for more information.  Thanks for watching and have a great day! I am entering this in the 3 Girl Jam - Beautiful Bows Challenge .

Beast & Belle Anniversary Card

Image
I know you don't typically see a "cutesy" anniversary card from me, but this is for a special couple who celebrated their 5th anniversary and "Beauty & the Beast" has special meaning to them. I once again pulled out the Princess paper pad from Hot Off the Press and went to work.  Elegant edges was the perfect cartridge to create my heart mat and my base was made from Vintage Cream card stock from PaperTrey Ink.  The blue paper was from DCWV's Shimmer stack and Sunflower crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl Jam made a beautiful bow.  The little pearls in the corners were made using Ranger liquid pearls in bisque.  The inside sentiment was stamped using a birthday set from TPC Studio.  The video contains full details on how to make the card so I hope you have a few minutes to enjoy it. Thanks for watching and have a great day! I am linking this to the following challenge 3 Girl Jam Beautiful Bows

Heart Anniversary Card

Outside of the Card I went to my craft space to start making Valentines earlier this evening.  However, when I got started I ended up making an anniversary card instead.  I used the "Wild Card" Cricut cartridge and papers from Recollections and K & Company.  Best of all I was able to use my newest set of stamps from K. Andrew Designs.  You can click on the image below to purchase this great set of stamps. I can tell that I will be using this one a lot!  Remember that all of these stamps are made in the USA and that at least $1 from each set is donated to charity.  They are so versatile.  I have found it is fun to mix and match the sayings.  There are soooo many things you could make from this one simple set! Now on to the project.  I really like the way this one turned out. Inside of the card I hope you enjoy the video to see the steps I took to make this cute card.  Thanks for watching and have a great day! ...
