Chasing Squirrels

Several months ago, we rented to movie "Up".  There was one dog in it that was easily distracted.  All someone had to do was say, "Look, A squirrel" and off he would go.  This has become a saying in our household, especially for one member who is easily distracted.


When I really think about it, life can sometimes be like chasing squirrels.  It is too easy to get distracted from the job God has for us and start chasing squirrels.  There are so many squirrels out there...

Making money
Blogging
Crafts
... just to name a few.  These things aren't wrong in and of themselves.  They become wrong when they distract us from the things we should be doing.  I need to be sure that my life isn't filled with chasing squirrels.
