Heath's Birthday Card

This was a super simple birthday card that I made for Heath's 12th Birthday.

Supplies:
Orange Card stock - "Textured Card Stock - Dark" - The Paper Studio
2 Different colors of blue card stock - from my stash
Foam Tape and other adhesive
1 Envelope

Tools:
Cricut Expression
Cricut "Toy Story" cartridge
Cricut "Lyrical Letters" cartridge
Score board and bone folder

Instructions:
Using "Lyrical Letters" page 70, cut "Happy Birthday" at 1 1/4" from the lighter blue card stock.  Cut the same sentiment at 1 1/2" in the darker blue.
Using "Toy Story" page 70, cut the base of the frame at 3 3/4" in the light blue and the layer in the dark blue.  Adhere the pieces of the frame to each other.  Save the cutout of the center of the light blue frame for the envelope.
Cut the orange card stock to 8 1/2" X 5 1/2".  Score at 4 1/4" (down the middle).  Fold and crease.
Using the frame as a guide, determine placement of the smaller Happy Birthday sentiment and adhere to the card.  Use foam tape (I used 2 layers) to adhere the frame to the card.

Add some of the cut-outs from the dark blue frame to the inside of the card as embellishments.
Add the light blue center of the frame to the front of the envelope as well as the dark blue sentiment that was cut at 1 1/2".
