Days Of Thanks #2 - November 2, 2012
Today I am thankful for my husband. We will celebrate our 22nd anniversary on January 1. He is my best friend and has been for a very long time. God has truly blessed me by giving me such a wonderful husband.
More than 10 years ago while working on a church building project, Daniel developed what was originally diagnosed as pneumonia. As the project progressed, he developed a strange muscle pain that we initially thought was from the heavy labor of the construction. However, the pain never went completely away. Daniel's MD sent him to a neurologist who ran multiple tests and checked for some very scary diseases. He was unable to determine what was going on and Daniel began seeing his current neurologist. After all this time, we have never received a definitive diagnosis and Daniel lives in constant pain.
Despite everything he goes through on a daily basis, he continues to be a great husband and father. He works hard. He strives to continue to serve the Lord in whatever way He will use him. He is a shining example to those around him and I am thankful.
