Pumpkin With a Thankful Mini
Good morning everyone. Don't you just love fall mornings? I do. Today I have a thankful project to show you that I designed especially for the current 3 Girl JAM challenge - fall favors with ribbon. We are being co-sponsored by Scraptastical Kreations so be sure to link up your project for a chance to win some great prizes.
I think this would be a lovely favor for your Thanksgiving guests. You could either do them individually as place cards, or you could send them home with each family as a way to remember your time together. Not staying home? How about a cute hostess gift? The possibilities are endless.
Now I must admit that the inspiration for the pumpkin came from the October 2012 Cricut magazine. I tweaked it a lot to form the base for the little Tag Mini from Scraptastical Kreations. I used quite a few things to make this, so hang on to your hats.
3 Girl JAM - Halloween Harvest, Mistletoe, Witches Brew
Scraptastical Kreations - Tag Album
Create-a-Critter - Pumpkin cut at 4 3/4" using the "shift, shadow" feature - Cut 12
Cuttlebug embossing folders - Script, Retro Kitchen, Stylized Flowers, D'Vine Swirl, Victoria, Perfectly Paisley, Swiss Dots
Sizzix embossing folders - Tim Holtz Thankful Print, 4 Petal Flower
Paper Studio embossing folder - Zebra
Paper - Orange cardstock (from my stash), "My family " paper from Fancy Pants, Autumn Melody Matstack from DCWV
K & Company - Fall diecuts by Tim Coffey and Paper Clip from the Life's Little Occasion line
Distress Inks - Ripe Persimmon and Seedless Preserves
PC Alphabitties (in multiple colors)
Raffia from JoAnn'
Alphabet Stamps from Megan Elizabeth at Above Rubies Studio
I think my favorite part of this mini is that you can record 6 years work of things you are thankful for. I believe it's a good reminder to look to the past to recall how good God has been.
I hope you take a few minutes to watch the video. In it, I tell you how I curled my beautiful 3 Girl JAM ribbon as well as how I made the pumpkin. Thanks for stopping by.
Besides the 3 Girl JAM challenge, I am also linking to the following challenges:
