Senior Picture Album

It's probably hard to believe, but I really do know how to scrapbook.  Unfortunately I am at a time in my life that I really don't have time.  This is why you don't see layouts from me and also why I plan on taking up Project Life.  However, there are those special occasions that I step up and do a mini album of some kind.  My daughter's graduation was one of those occasions.  I printed a bunch of her senior pictures and went to work on this quick album.  I will say it was very quick - 3 to 3.5 hours start to finish once I chose the paper.  It helped that my mom was there to help sort out the photos.

I found this 8X8 album at my local Joann's several weeks ago and knew it would be perfect since it was in my daughter's favorite colors.  Finding paper was a bit of a challenge since I didn't head to the city.  However, while looking around my craft room I found a little file of paper that my daughter had chosen as her own.  I grabbed that and knew that I couldn't go wrong since it was the paper she had chosen.  I used Core'dinations Chocolate Brown textured paper as the base for all my pages which were cut at 8X8.  I also used it as well as some other Core'dinations colors to mat all the photos.  I then simply cut all the designer paper and cardstock at 7 3/4" square and adhered them to the brown paper and added the photos.

The most time was spent on the title page.  I used the same paper from Lisa Gibbon's Prima paper that I had used on all of her other projects.  I also handmade each of the 3 flowers.  I love to have everything coordinate.  The following supplies were also used on this page:
3 Girl JAM -
Jeremiah 29:11 digital image found here.
Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge

Since this is the last project that I made for Elise's graduation, I decided to post a picture her display table.  Each graduate was responsible for their own table that showed their likes and activities.  This is where we displayed all of the projects I made as well as her favorite things.

If you would like to see the video that shows the whole album, it is posted below.
If you missed the other projects, they can be found by clicking on the following links:
