Gift Bags
September 30 is the last day to enter my giveaway. Click here to find out how to enter.
As mentioned in my last post, I had a great time paper crafting with my friend Pamela last Saturday. These bags are not related (though they did go to 2 members of the same family), but I decided to post them together. How many bags can one person see anyway?
The first bag held a little treat for my friend Kathy. It coordinates perfectly with the card that I made for her and posted earlier. I used the same papers. (BTW - I found out that the swirly teal paper was from My Little Shoebox).
I started with the same papers used on the card. I then added a black doily and a white one from the Owl and Thistle Etsy shop. More Prima "Say it with pearls" bling added a special touch. I then used the dress form stamp from the My Mind's Eye Lost and Found 2 "Blush" stamp set and stamped it in Ranger Archival black ink on PTI Vintage Cream card stock. The finishing touch was the Antique White crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM (click here to find this pretty ribbon).
The second bag was for a pretty little lady named Lucy. I had planned to make her a mini album more than a year ago and finally finished it last Saturday (Coming soon!).
Now I must admit that I normally wouldn't have put all these colors together. It just kind of happened. I started by going through my scrap stash where I found this scrap of printed paper from the Teresa Collins Baby Boutique Imagine cartridge. I then found another pink scrap and a cute pink and yellow paper from the DCWV Nana's Kids matstack. I believe the letters are some that I've had for years from Hot Off the Press, but I'm not really sure. The little dress was a cardboard die cut from my Cropped Event kit. I used lime-colored Stickles to add some sparkle. The bow was made from some ribbon I found in my stash.
So that finishes up a couple of more things I made last weekend. I have 2 more projects, one of which is completely unlike anything that I've ever made. Keep checking back, but until then...
