Animal Card Series - Poodles of Fun Box

Of course we have to have something to put all those cards into, don't we?  Today we are taking a break from the cards so I could have a place to store the ones that were finished.  I had piles of cards sitting on a table.  Could be a recipe for disaster should Hobbes, my mangy cat decide he likes googly eyes and twine.

I didn't really go through the process of creating the box on the video.  If you would like more information on how to make a box click here.  I just wanted to show you how I decorated it.  The box was made from plain white cardstock from the office supply section at Walmart.  The rest of the paper was from my stash or my scraps.  I didn't have quite enough striped paper to make all 4 boxes, so I made the 4th one from a great scrap from Penny's Playground.  I absolutely love this collection and am pretty much down to scraps.  I'll be sad when they're gone.

It's going to be a tight fit to get all 8 cards in the box, but I think we'll make it.  I used Doodlecharms to make the little poodle and "All About Animals" to stamp my sentiment in black Excelsior ink.  The bow was made from grosgrain ribbon from Gifts International.

Have a great day!
