Quick Thank You Gift
We are taking a little break from the Animal Card Series to show you a different project today. Hopefully, we will get back to the other set soon.
Recently, I coordinated a Stroke Awareness Day at the hospital where I work. I wanted to make a little thank you gift to those who helped me and those who sponsored it. I had seen a similar idea to this on Pinterest and I thought it was perfect for this event.
I started with a package of "Extra" gum and wrapped a 6.5" X 3" piece of paper from Hot Off the Press. I used Soft Tints Lavender Swirls and Ticking Stripe.
I then cut a piece of dark purple paper to measure 2.5" X 3" and adhered it over the seam to cover the seam. I pulled these ready made tags from Avery and inked around the edges on both sides with "Dusty Concord" Distress Ink. I printed my sentiment from the computer and trimmed it to fit inside of the purple piece. I found some flowers from Recollections that I had sprayed with my home-made glitter spray. I attached the flower and the tag with glue dots. This was a super simple project and I'm really glad I found it on Pinterest. To see the original post click here.
Have a wonderful day serving the Lord.
