Catching Up, New Videos and a 3 Girl JAM Announcement
Good morning everyone. I trust you are having a great day. If you live in the west or mid-west, please stay safe and warm with all the snow you are getting. I trust everyone had a great time of celebrating thankfulness with your family. I know that I did, but boy were we busy. I had actually taken vacation time and ended up super busy the whole time. God is so good to us.
Back in October, I posted about upcoming
posting plans as well as a giveaway that I was tying to my thankfulness
posts. Unfortunately, I have been too busy to keep up with all of those
posts and projects. Also, there were not comments made on the thankful
posts telling me what others were thankful for. I am going to put off
the giveaway that was mentioned until I can see if it is even feasible
to have the 12 tags completed. I will update you as I am able.
While considering the design for this year's 12 Days of Christmas Tags, I have decided that I will only make 1 or 2 videos. It won't be all about techniques this year. If you want to play along, I will be using the Graphic 45 "12 Days of Christmas" collection. This collection is simply gorgeous. You can purchase either the 12X12 or 8X8 collection as I will likely use both. I have other pieces to the collection as well including one of the stamp sets, but you should be able to come up with a similar variation of the tags if you choose one of the paper pads. The rest is "bonus". If you are interested in the previous year's posts which have explored more techniques, you can find them listed under the "Videos (A-G)" tab at the top of the page.
I also am continuing the Christmas card tutorials and have a fun card coming soon featuring the Teresa Collins Silhouette images that I found free in the Cricut Craft Room. There will also be some other fun projects including some Christmas Journals.
I recently uploaded a couple of videos on YouTube that I want to share with you here today. The first video is a flower making tutorial. I make these flowers all the time, but this was a big one and it features some brand new products from 3 Girl JAM. I hope you enjoy this step by step tutorial. **Hint - this flower will be featured on my blog hop project.**
The next video is a revisit of the Thanksgiving organizer I showed a few posts back. I update you on how it helped with my holiday planning.
As we hustle and bustle through the holiday season, don't forget that the true meaning of Christmas isn't the gifts, the parties, or even the family time. It is a time where we celebrate the most precious Gift - the coming of Jesus, our Savior. I hope you will take some time to reflect on this precious Gift and see if you have accepted this Gift and claimed it as your own.
