Stenciled and Embossed Cards

Today I wanted to share a new technique that I recently tried - using embossing paste.  I have seen this product and wanted to give it a try. It will take a bit of practice to make it work really well, but I really like the way it all turned out.

The first thing that I needed to do after purchasing the embossing paste was to figure out how to use it.  I found a great inspiration video from Jennifer McGuire here.  She has some great tips and you should really check out her video.

Supplies:
Wendi Vecci Translucent Embossing Paste
Silver embossing powder from Ranger; Clear and white embossing powder
Heidi Swapp Chevron Stencil
Spellbinders Flower Silhouette embossing plate
Memento Tuxedo Black and London Fog
Grey and Lime Green cardstock from my stash, white cardstock from Paper Trey Ink
Metal Brad (maybe from Memory Makers?)
LG Ribbon Bundle from 3 Girl JAM (Use the code "CP10" to receive a discount on your 3GJ purchases)
Hero Arts All Occasion Messages stamp set
We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper

I think I'm going to really like using this embossing paste.

Here is a video to walk you through the cards.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Remember to take some time to enjoy the little things.

Did you know that there is a brand new challenge at 3 Girl JAM?  It's the "All Things Spring" with ribbon challenge.  You really should check out the rules and play along.  I'll be linking this up!
