2019 Christmas Tags with Aunt Cheri

For the final video in the Christmas Tag Series, I created a special video for all my nieces and nephews.  I have a lot of nieces and nephews and I try to create at least one or two projects especially for them each year.  However to be perfectly honest, I think that adults will like this simple technique and it may even make you decide to never buy gift tags again... It's that simple but doesn't sacrifice charm for simplicity.

Here's what you will need:
Pre-made tags or material to make your own (cardstock, chipboard, file folders, cereal boxes, etc)
Paper napkins with a small pattern or print
White glue that will dry clear such as Elmer's school glue or Mod Podge
Ribbon, yarn or some other string for your tops
Ruler, scissors, pencil and hole punch

The basic idea is to just use what you have.  If you have a die cutting machine, great.  If you don't have a die cutting machine, you can use a paper trimmer or just good old fashion scissors and a ruler to cut the tags.  No hole punch?  No problem!  Be creative in cutting your hole at the top.  I cut my tags at 2 1/4 X 4" but you can really make any size that fits the pattern of your napkins.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Remember to take some time to enjoy the little things.
