More Disneyland Journals

Image
Hello.  Today, I have 3 Disneyland Journals to share with you.  If you take the time to watch the videos, I also show you my completed journal and talk about how I completed it.  I offer some tips and show you what I packed to maximize my space and yet have everything I would need to keep up with my journal.  Believe it or not, I only took 5 items including my journal plus a set of ink pens.  I keep the pens in my Day Planner which I took on the trip, but you could easily use the Smash pen for the whole project. I found out that 2 of my sisters are also headed to Disneyland over the next couple of months so I made them each a journal.  I also made one for my niece.  I altered books for my family, but I made these books from my stash. For the first 2 journals I used the following: Bind-It-All with 3/4" rings Disneyland paper from EK Success Bright colored card stock and paper from my stash White slick paper from our office suppli...

Bronco Gift Bag and Card

Image
Yesterday, I posted the clipboards that I altered for 3 of my nephews.  Thanks for checking them out.  After they were altered and ready to go, they of course needed a little bag and card.  This is what I came up with. This little 3X3 card was made from papers in my scrap stash.  I also used a sticker and mounted it on a blue piece of paper.  I stamped the inside with "Happy Birthday" from TPC Studio. I then used some orange and white twine from The Twinery. The bag was trimmed to a smaller size.  It was then inked with Dusty Durango from Stampin' Up and Faded Jeans distress ink.  I cut a couple of holes in the top of the bag, ran my twine through the holes and tied the card on to the bag.  Doesn't that sound easy?  It really was. Thanks for stopping by.  Remember to... Take some time to enjoy the little things.

Beast & Belle Anniversary Card

Image
I know you don't typically see a "cutesy" anniversary card from me, but this is for a special couple who celebrated their 5th anniversary and "Beauty & the Beast" has special meaning to them. I once again pulled out the Princess paper pad from Hot Off the Press and went to work.  Elegant edges was the perfect cartridge to create my heart mat and my base was made from Vintage Cream card stock from PaperTrey Ink.  The blue paper was from DCWV's Shimmer stack and Sunflower crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl Jam made a beautiful bow.  The little pearls in the corners were made using Ranger liquid pearls in bisque.  The inside sentiment was stamped using a birthday set from TPC Studio.  The video contains full details on how to make the card so I hope you have a few minutes to enjoy it. Thanks for watching and have a great day! I am linking this to the following challenge 3 Girl Jam Beautiful Bows
