Love is in the air and today I am sharing that with each of my family members.  Now I'm sure that everyone has wrapped up their Valentine giving for the year, but I was making my main ones the night before Valentine's Day so you will all be seeing them a bit late. Today I have a clean and simple card to share with you.  I really like the simple elegance of embossed white with just a punch of color so that's what I decided to go with today. Welcome to day 8 of the 14 Days of Valentines.  It's hard to believe that we are over halfway through these posts.  I have had a lot of fun.  I hope you have too.  Today's Valentines were made to be 4X4 cards and each was stamped. For all the card bases, cardstock from The Paper Studio's "Holiday" pack was used. The patterned papers were from K & Company (using up scraps) and from The Paper Studio ("Black and White Doodle Hearts" and "Be My Valentine") The stamps were: "Apple of My Eye" and "Cuckoo for You" from We R Memory Keepers "I Heart You" from K. I am linking today's project to Link Up Tuesday by Pink Cricut . Today I have a simple project for you.  I made 3" X 3" Valentines and I didn't use a Cricut or stamps.  I used paper, stickers, and a few other supplies to encourage you to make some Valentines.  This is a simple project so that you can try out card making without breaking the bank while getting supplies.  In fact, you could make something similar to the cards I made with very few supplies and very little cost.  Let's get started. Welcome to day one of Getting Cricky Fun.  This week those of the Design Team playing along have chosen to use only 1 Cricut Cartridge or SVG set to create each day's projects.  The week will conclude on Friday with the "Cabin Fever" blog hop.  Our goal is to show you just how versatile Kristal's stamps are and also to get out those Cricut cartridges we have never used or at least not used much.  But the fun doesn't stop there.  You will also be able to link up your projects using a cartridge you haven't used in awhile.  To link a project you need to: 1. Valentines Day is quickly approaching and I really need to get some Valentines done.  Unfortunately, this has been a very busy week and there hasn't been much time or energy for crafting.  I needed some cute Valentines that I could make quickly.  I need to make around 40 of them and I don't have much time.  I used these 3 designs to make about half of them. Of course, what project would be complete without stamps from K.  This is a 8 inch X 6 inch card folded to be 4 inches wide by 6 inches tall (I wasn't using an envelope).  I think that K & Company is one of my favorite companies.  They have great papers and accents.  The key and keyhole is my first Tim Holtz embellishment purchase. The front of the card The inside of the card Black card stock was cut at 6X4 and adhered to the inside of the card. The red printed paper is cut at 5 3/4 X 3 3/4 and punched with the Fiskars heart border punch and adhered to the black base.  White faux stitching was made with a gel pen. The opening of the heart - The hand written sentiment is covered by a torn piece of paper.
