Close To My Heart New Consulatant Incentive Program

Are you ready to earn free products while setting your own schedule?  Do you love crafting???  Then Close To My Heart may be the right place for you.  Right now is one of the best times to join.  Why? (Yes, I knew you wanted to ask.)  Starting April 1, you can become a part of the Close To My Heart family as an independent consultant for just $75!  I would love to have you join my team.

But the fun doesn't stop there.  With your $75, you will get the basics to start your business, but the best part is that you will also get a $50 voucher to purchase products from the catalogs that you feel will best suite your needs to meet the goals you set for your business.

Also if you join in April, you will receive the CTMH Cricut collection of your choice  free when you reach $350 in sales in your first 30 days.  Not interested in a cartridge?  No problem!  You can choose $100 in products instead.

Close To My Heart does a great job of keeping things low key.  They welcome consultants who just want to craft for pleasure to consultants who are ready to build a solid business and everything in between.  I fall in that "in between" category by the way.

Please check out this video and then contact me at djssundries@gmail.com and I would be happy to talk to you about joining my team.  Don't forget to leave your phone number so I can give you a call.  Like Close To My Heart, I am low key and would love to talk to you without adding pressure.

Still not sure about it?  Close To My Heart is offering an webinar explaining their consultant services four different times in the month of April.  I can help you arrange to attend to help answer questions you may have.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Remember to take some time to enjoy the little things.

Flower Tags

Sometimes you need something cute that you can make in just a few minutes.  These tags are perfect for that.  Just grab some cute paper (I used "Seaside" from Close To My Heart which has been discontinued) and your Cricut and you are ready to go.  Unfortunately, I forgot which Cricut cartridge I used to make these.  Please watch the video and let me know if you have an answer to how to look up which cartridge you used on a project.

Fountain Pens

I have discovered that I really like fountain pens.  In a recent haul video, I showed a couple of pens I had picked up from the Goulet Pen Company.  You should check out their website here:  http://www.gouletpens.com/  In this video, I show the pens I purchased and how they write.

Birthday Slider Card

My daughter recently celebrated her 21st birthday.  I wanted to make a fun card, but not too juvenile.  That's when I remembered the "Forever young" Cricut cartridge.  Add this silhouette figure to the Close To My Heart Artfully Sent cartridge and you have a great little slider card.

Here's what you need:
You can get your Close To My Heart products here: Cheri's Close To My Heart OBA or you can click on the links to go directly to specific products.
Close To My Heart "Artfully Sent" Cricut cartridge
Close To My Heart "Confetti" paper pack (retired)
Cricut "Forever Young" cartridge
Close To My Heart Your Own Kind of Wonderful stamp set
Versafine Onyx Black ink
Close To My Heart Black cardstock
Close To My Heart Lagoon cardstock or in the Adventure cardstock packet
Close To My Heart Whimsy cardstock pack
3 Girl JAM Sunflower crinkle ribbon
EK Success glitter
Xyron sticker maker

In the video, I talk about an alternate way to make things extra secure.  Once I put a complementary paper on the back, here's what you get.

Two ways to make the same card.

How about a video?

Golden Birthday T-Shirt

Have you ever heard of a "golden birthday"?  I can assure you that I hadn't until about a month ago when a friend's daughter celebrated hers.  A golden birthday only happens once in a lifetime. It is celebrated when the date of your birth matches your age.  This year my daughter celebrated her golden birthday when she turned 21 on March 21st.

Here's what you need to decorate your t-shirt:
T-shirt
Cricut iron on
Cricut with cartridges (I can't remember what I used)

Planner Quick Tip - Rub-Ons

I know that some of you do not like rub-ons.  I actually like them a lot and can't believe I hadn't really thought about adding them to my planners and journals.  They are so perfect for that because they add so little bulk.  I really recommend that you go through your stash and find some old rub-ons to add to your planner lay-outs.  You may just find a whole new love.

Planner Quick Tip - Washi Organization

I have a problem.  Okay, so may I have a few problems, but one of those is the sheet amount of washi tape that I have stashed.  I find that I don't use the bulk of it because most of it is in my craft room and I rarely use my planner or bullet journal in the craft room.  One solution was to move the narrow washi into a zipper pouch to put into my planner carrier.  That worked, but the rest of my stash (including the funnest printed ones) remained downstairs.  Something had to change!  This week's "quick tip" shows you my solution.  I love it.  I went out of town for a few hours this morning with my guys.  I knew that I was going to have some time with my journals while I was gone and this solution meant I could take most of my washi with me. The best part?  It took very little room to toss it in my bag.  That's what I call a solution!
